Channel Version Published

This snap connects computers in a private VPN

This snap relies on the software project Tinc that does the actual work to mesh network segments together. This snap is made to make it easy to get started and you should have a Tinc VPN up and running under five minutes.

This snap will not do zero downtime reloads. When an update is applied, or you change a setting there will be a short interruption in the connection. This should be absolutely fine for most users.

install

# install it
snap install tunnel

# Run tunnel and follow the instructions, then run tunnel again
tunnel

There is also an edge channel that contains the latest release from master. The edge channel can randomly break so I recommend it's only used for testing.
