MiniZinc is a free and open-source constraint modeling language.
You can use MiniZinc to model constraint satisfaction and optimization problems in a high-level, solver-independent way, taking advantage of a large library of pre-defined constraints. Your model is then compiled into FlatZinc, a solver input language that is understood by a wide range of solvers.
MiniZinc is developed at Monash University in collaboration with Data61 Decision Sciences and the University of Melbourne.

Snap is available for Linux Mint 18.2 (Sonya), Linux Mint 18.3 (Sylvia), and the latest releases, Linux Mint 19 (Tara), Linux Mint 19.1 (Tessa), Linux Mint 19.2 (Tina) and Linux Mint 19.3 (Tricia).
You can find out which version of Linux Mint you’re running by opening System info from the Preferences menu. To install snap from the Software Manager application, search for snapd and click Install.
Alternatively, snapd can be installed from the command line:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
Either restart your machine, or log out and in again, to complete the installation.
To install MiniZinc, simply use the following command:
