Install latest/edge of gds2pov

Ubuntu 16.04 or later?

Make sure snap support is enabled in your Desktop store.

Install using the command line

sudo snap install gds2pov --edge

gds2pov is only available on the unstable edge channel. It could break and change often.

gds2pov is a program to take a integrated circuit gds2 layout file and output a POV-Ray scene description file of the gds2 data. This allows the creation of attractive 3D pictures of a layout.

POV-Ray is a completely free, cross platform ray tracer. It can be obtained from http://www.povray.org/
