IF APP IS NOT LAUNCHING AFTER INSTALL, THEN RUN CMD BELOW IN YOUR SHELL

 sudo snap remove formatlab --purge && sudo snap install formatlab && sudo snap refresh formatlab && sudo snap install pyqt5-runtime-core20 && sudo snap refresh pyqt5-runtime-core20 && formatlab

*FYI:* Kindly Be Patient, Sometimes Snap Applications Take A While To Launch At First Time Installations

NOTE #1

Give Permission to removable-media interface and optical-drive interface

Run below command in your Terminal/Shell.

 sudo snap connect formatlab:removable-media

 sudo snap connect formatlab:optical-drive


If CPU Temp is not Comming/not accurate in the System Monitor, then run below command in your Terminal/Shell.

 sudo snap connect formatlab:hardware-observe


NOTE #2

ubuntu-restricted-extras package allows users to install ability to play popular non-free media formats, including DVD, MP3, Quicktime, and Windows Media formats. without this you would not be able to play videos inside the app.

 sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras
